Muramasa Rebirth has been released the other day in Japan and a North American version is coming in the near future, thanks to Aksys: an all new localization is also the works so even players who already enjoyed this sidescrolling action title on Wii will find something new for the PsVita version, aside from the new DLC characters.
Judging from an Amazon listing, Muramasa: Rebirth will receive a special limited edtion alongside the regular one. Both versions have a June 25th release date yet to be confirmed by the publisher.
The limited edition of Muramasa: Rebirth is priced at 59.99$ and it will include a cutom PsVita face cover, a PsVita Skin featuring art from the game, a PsVita drawstring pouch and a Muramasa lithograph drawn by Gearge Kamitani, creator of the game.
On a related note, the extra DLC characters will be available in Japan for around 5$: the new characters will have all new storylines, weapons, skills and gameplay styles. The two main characters’ storylines haven’t been touched, offering players the purest Muramasa experience on their PsVita consoles.
Some new gameplay footage for Muramasa: Rebirth is available: you can take a look at the video here.
No news on a possible European release of the game.
