Just as it has been promised, new teaser trailers for Battlefield 4, the latest entry of the successful Battlefield series, developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts, have surfaced this weekend. After the “Prepare 4 Battle: Sea” and “Prepare 4 Battle: Land” trailers, a new trailer has been released, called “Prepare 4 Battle: Air”. As you can probably tell from the name, this new teaser trailer showcases a chopper: it’s not a surprise at all since choppers in the Battlefield games are the norm.
The Official Battlefield Site has also been recently updated, revealing a new screen for the game: you can head over the site itself to take a look at it. This new screenshot confirms that Shanghai and China will be part of the new Battlefield game: this also seems to back up rumors that stated that one of the playable faction of the game would be China, together with United States and Russia.
Battlefield 4 will be fully revealed next week on March 27: as of now not much is known about the game. Yesterday it was revealed, by taking a look at the Official Site source code that the game is currently set for a Ps3, Xbox 360 and Pc release, with no mention of possible next-gen versions and a Wii U one. It’s still too soon to say and the text may be just a placeholder: with the game releasing at the end of the year, not launching Battlefield 4 on next-gen consoles wouldn’t be very smart.
