Square Enix has recently filed a trademark for something titled “Lara Croft: Revelations”: with the latest Tomb Raider game out for not even a month, what could this new title be?

Yesterday it’s been confirmed by Tomb Raider global brand director Karl Stewart that all the upcoming Tomb Raider DLCs will be multiplayer focused and that Crystal Dynamic hasn’t any story DLC planned as of now.

Maybe for now we won’t be getting any Story DLC but that doesn’t mean we won’t get them in the future: in a recent interview Crystal Dynamics creative director Noah Hughes stated that he feels there’s still room to do more with Lara after the end of Tomb Raider. Putting Lara outside the island and back into the world may reveal more about her backstory and help expand the game, stated Hughes: will Lara Croft: Revelations be the next step for the “reborn” Lara Croft?

Tomb Raider is now available on Pc, Ps3 and Xbox 360: the game has been pretty successful and praised as one of the finest installments of the series. The classic Tomb Raider formula has been expanded with some extra elements like the surviving aspects of the game as well as skill management, loot gathering and more.
