After the initial announcement we may have heard very little about Dragon’s Crown but ever since the Japanese release date has been revealed, a lot of new details about the game have come up, showing how the game might even be deeper than it looked like. Vanillaware latest 2D title will be quite big in Japan and we hope it will do just as well in the West once it gets released.
A new trailer has been recently made available on Youtube and you can take a look at it here: there are a lot of new characters included and we get to see some of the ranged classes in action like the Elf, Wizard and Sorceress. Classes variety is really a good thing to have in a game stressing multiplayer co-op as much as Dragon’s Crown.
A new preorder bonus has also been announced for the game: all players pre-ordering the Japanese version of the game, coming on Ps3 as well as on PsVita, will receive a 64 pages art book.
Dragon’s Crown will be released in Japan on July 25. A recently leaked Gamestop document had an August release date for North America: while the Western release has been confirmed some time ago we still lack an official release date so the August date is anything but confirmed.
