With the soon to be released Luigi’s Mansion 2: Dark Moon and the upcoming first DLC for New Super Mario Bros U, Luigi will finally get all the attention he deserves. Satoru Iwata, Nintendo’s President, announced a few weeks ago that 2013 is going to be Luigi’s year and it looks like he was really serious about this. To celebrate the year of Luigi new rewards have been introduced in the Club Nitendo program , with all the rewards “discounted” until tomorrow. Here’s the available rewards:
- Reversible Pouches – 150 coins
- Mario & Luigi Greeting Cards – 200 coins
- Wii Remote Holders – 200 coins
- Wii Remote Wrist Strap Set – 250 coins
- Classic Super Mario T-Shirt – 350 coins
- Stylus & Game Card Case (Animal Crossing) – 350 coins
While there’s nothing too big, Luigi’s fans will be able to celebrate this great year with some of these goodies: the reduced coins cost is quite nice and will allow gamers to get something more from the money they spent on Nintendo’s games and hardware. The sale will end tomorrow on March 19 at 11:59 PM so be quick if you want to grab some of these goodies.
After the sale’s end, the “celebrations” for the year of Luigi will continue on Sunday with the official North American release of Luigi’s Mansion 2: Dark Moon.
