Saints Row 4 has just been announced, and it’s coming on August 20, Publisher Deep Silver announced today. They released the debut teaser trailer for it, and it looks really cool so far. The game has been announced for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3, so if you were wondering if the game would make it too next gen hardware, you’re out of luck. It seems that the THQ auction didn’t disrupt the development process at all. Company of Heroes 2 didn’t fare so well, as it was pushed back a few months.
Deep Silver released some information on the game, and it sounds pretty insane. ”Saints Row IV lets players delve into an arsenal of alien weaponry and technology that will turn each Saint into an ultimate entity of destruction. Utilize out-of-this-world superpowers to fight all the way to the top. With intensified action and enhanced customization, players can use their newfound superpowers and leap over buildings, outrun the fastest sports cars, or send enemies flying with telekinesis in the greatest, most insane installment of Saints Row yet.”
If that doesn’t get you excited for the game, I don’t know what will. Saints Row the Third was wildly successful when it was released two years ago, and you know the fourth game will do even better.
