More news for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 this week: the game is almost ready for release, launching next week in Japan on Ps3 and PsVita and more news on the game’s contents have been unveiled by Shonen Jump magazine.

Yesterday we reported that a new character will be fully playable in the game: we’re talking about Marshal D. Teach, also know as Blackbeard. The villain is probably the last character to get included into the roster for the game, counting a lot of new characters fighting alongside, or against, the Straw Hat crew, coming back with a lot of new skills and combos.

Being a Dynasty Warriors spin-off it shouldn’t surprise players that some of the Pirate Warriors 2 characters will be getting crossover costumes straight from the latest Dynasty Warriors titles: Boa Hancock will have a Diaochan costume while Perona will have a Wang Yuanji costume. Nami and Nico Robin will receive Dynasty Warriors costumes as well: you’ll be able to dress Nami with the Kunoichi outfit and Robin with the Kaihime costume. More costumes will probably be included for the other characters as well: Namco Bandai is going to sell this special costumes as DLC.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 will be available this Summer on Ps3. The PsVita version will not be released outside Japan.
