During February Sony awarded some long time PSN users a 10$ bonus to be used on the Playstation Store. The accompanying message stated that Sony was awarding long time customers for their loyalty to the PSN services. Some players actually weren’t long time PSN users so the true reason behind this is unknown. Still, the bonuses were real and all was well and good.
It looks like Sony has started awarding some more bonuses this morning: more than a few players have reported receiving the same message sent out in February, awarding them the extra 10$ bonus. If you haven’t gotten the message during last month, there’s a small chance you’ll receive one now.
All players who received this March bonus didn’t get it last month: Sony is probably trying to get more people using its Playstation Store. Even without the bonus, there are a lot of reasons to use the Playstation Store: weekly offers on games and DLC packs, the PS Plus service offering free Ps3 and PsVita titles for a small subscription fee, Day 1 Digital releases and so on.
