Even though Assassin’s Creed IV has already been announced, Ubisoft is still supporting Assassin’s Creed III with some extra downloadable content. After some DLC packs aimed at the online multiplayer mode of the game, the first part of the story DLC of the game was released a few weeks ago. The Tyranny Of King Washington is a “what if” scenario, where George Washington became the tyrannical ruler of North America.
Even though it’s a side scenario, Ubisoft confirmed that it’s somewhat canon, especially regarding the new abilities learned by main character Connor. The second part of three of the DLC is going be released soon and a new trailer is now available, showcasing the “Power Of The Eagle”. Thanks to this eagle-channeling accessory, Connor will be able to transform into an eagle and fly for short distances, opening up some new gameplay possibilities. The Power Of The Eagle joins other special abilities already introduced in the first part of the DLC.
The second part of the Tyranny Of King Washington DLC is called “The Betrayal” and it will be available on March 19 for Xbox 360 and Pc and on March 20 for Ps3. The final episode, called Redemption will be out on April 23 for Pc and Xbox360 and on April 24 on Ps3.
