Take-Two Interactive has two major games coming out this year, BioShock Infinite and GTA V; but as for the future we have little to no idea what Take-Two or Rockstar Games have coming even next year. However, today Take-Two wanted to make sure we knew that after BioShock Infinite and GTA V release they are not done publishing games.
According to Take-Two they have a “extensive pipeline of unannounced titles in development” that will supposedly be shown off in the coming months. Chief operating officer Karl, Slatoff talked about the future of Take Two at a Technologies Conference this week and mentioned that with GTA V releasing in September they expect one of the best fiscal 2014 years in the company’s history.
As for what games will be complimenting GTA V in fiscal 2014, Slatoff unfortunately did not go into any details. But he did list Borderlands, L.A. Noire, Mafia, Max Payne, and Red Dead Redemption as important franchises to the company. Disappointing that he didn’t list Bully as one of those franchises, hopefully because it is their next major title in development (but probably not).
As for what the next big Take-Two or Rockstar game will be released after GTA V launches, my money would be on the next Mafia game which has supposedly in development for a while.
