With the promise of many revolutionary changes to the standard gameplay formula, there’s a lot of hype and anticipation behind the next entries of the Pokemon franchise: Pokemon X & Y will be released on October on 3DS and after a couple official reveals, there haven’t been too many confirmed details about the game.
Just like a few weeks ago, more information come from a supposed insider working for Nintendo: all the new rumored details have been posted on the 4chan forums. The poster also makes it clear that this new information is pretty much confirmed since all these details will be covered in the upcoming issue of the CoroCoro Japanese Magazine. Here’s the latest details on the game, mostly related to some of the new Pokemons to be included in the game.
- Sylveon is a pure Flying-type Pokemon and can only be a female. Up until know all flying types have had another attribute.
- Sylveon is said to evolve as a result of a bonding mechanic.
- Xerneas’s type is Psychic/Ground.
- Yveltal’s type is Fighting/Flying.
- New Pokemon: A pre-evolution of Tauros.
- New Pokemon: An evolution of Torkoal.
- New Pokemon: An alternate evolution of Wynaut, parallel to Wobbuffet.
As of now, consider all this as a rumor: once the latest CoroCoro issue will be available we’ll finally know if all of this is indeed true.
