Square Enix and Crystal Dynamic have announced the Xbox 360 timed exclusive first pack of DLC for the new Tomb Raider. The DLC Caves and Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack set to launch for Xbox Live on March 19th. For 400 Microsoft Points you will gain access to three new multiplayer maps including: “Cliff Shantytown, The Burning Village and Scavenger Caverns.”
The three maps will allow players to play any of the four multiplayer modes they want in these new areas. As for when this content will be available on PC and the PS3, it is currently not known yet. However, most of the Xbox Live timed exclusive DLC for games like Call of Duty and Skyrim last only a month. So PS3 and PC fans might want to look for the DLC Caves and Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack sometime in April.
Although the only major consistent complaint that has been leveled against the Tomb Raider reboot has been the multiplayer aspect of the game. In other words, this DLC might not be worth the price of admission unless you really love the multiplayer aspect of Tomb Raider.
