The long awaited announcement of a console version of Diablo 3, getting released on Ps3 and Ps4 at the end of the year, didn’t mean that the Pc version would be neglected. Quite the contrary, actually: the game has received a big 1.0.7 patch some time ago which introduced some new elements in the game, like the Player Versus Player arena and a few other gameplay tricks.
A new post on the battle.net blog announced that a new patch for Diablo 3 called patch 1.0.8 would be hitting the game in the near future, detailing some of the changes which will be introduced. The changes won’t be as big as with the previous update: mod density for Act 1,2 and 4 has been adjusted so that more enemies will be present, allowing gamers to level up more easily and even improve their rare items hunting endeavors. Multi item crafting will be improved, with the new interface allowing the selection of all the items before starting the crafting process. A new Identify All feature will be introduced in the game as well, which is bound to prove useful for many players. The Auction House will also be slightly improved: players will be able to compare the item they want to buy with their current gear, making it easier to check out if there will be stats improvements on your characters.
No release date has been announced but the patch should be available before the end of the month.
