Controversy aside, Dmc – Devil May Cry is a solid enough title offering a good gameplay experience, featuring some high action combat sequence and some exploration sequences, with some light platform games elemets. Capcom expected the game to be a smashing success sales wises and while the game sold enough, it’s quite far from being a total success.
Still, some gamers definitely enjoyed the game and surely want more: the first DLC pack for the game is now available for all versions worldwide. Vergil’s Downfall allows gamers to play another 5 hours of content: the pack includes an all new story featuring Vergil, a story set after the events of the main game. Vergil plays quite differently from Dante: he’ll be exploring some new locations and fight many different enemies, not included in the main game. The DLC also has multiple difficulty levels, adding some replay value.
All gamers who preordered the game will be able to download the extra pack for free: everyone else will have to pay for it. Costing 8.99 euros/dollars for the Ps3/PC versions and 720 Microsoft Points, the price is justified by the huge amount of new content included.
Dmc – Devil may Cry is currently available on Ps3, Xbox 360 and Pc.
