Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus was released less than a week ago on PsVita: the game is an enhanced port of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 released a few years ago on Ps3, featuring a lot of extra content, new characters, skills, attacks and game modes. The game also features an extra Ninja Trials mode, offering even more new content and special missions for all the playable characters. All the Downloadable Content originally released for the Ps3 version of the game is also available from the start.

The game, however, seems to have some technical issues: there are a lot of framerate drops happening during regular play even when there’s not a lot of action going on. Tecmo Koei has acknowledged the issue and has offered a simple fix: players who are suffering through these issues can simply go into the options menu and change the camera speed by using the fastest setting. It’s still unknown if by changing this setting things improve: most likely Tecmo Koei is going to develop a patch to address this issue as soon as possible if problems will persist.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus is currently available in North America and Europe on PsVita: the European’s digital version of the game will be available on Thursday.
