While western players never really had the chance to try them out, the portable titles in the long running Tales Of series have been plenty with some really good releases. Namco Bandai and Tales Of studios are currently supporting the PsVita with some remakes of the Tales Of games released on Nintendo DS: Tales Of Innocence R was released last year in Japan and Tales Of Hearts R will be coming in a few days.
According to a rumor posted by a trustworthy source on the Japanese 2ch forums, at least two more Tales Of games will be coming on the Sony handheld console in the near future. Another DS game remake, Tales Of The Tempest R, is currently being developed, almost in parallel with Tales Of Hearts R and a new game will be starting getting worked on after Tales Of Hearts R release: the yet to be named title will being a close to the Triverse Arc, which has been introduced to loosely connect the three remakes.
Tales Of The Tempest R was hinted already in Tales Of Innocence R so there’s a high possibility that this rumor is actually true. Still, without an official announcement, we’re looking at some unconfirmed rumors.
