Gearbox really loves to support one of its finest games: Borderlands 2 is constantly receiving updates and new DLC content, with some more coming in the next months, like a new DLC pack introducing a new character class and raising the max level cap.
For gamers looking to obtain some rare loot, Gearbox has posted on its official Twitter account new SHIFT codes for all versions of the game: the codes, which can only be used today, can be used to obtain five in game golden keys. Players can use these golden keys to open special golden chests located in the city of Sanctuary to obtain some rare loot: the weapons given will be in line with the players’ level so it’s best to open these chests once you have reached a really high level. Using a key once will make the key gone forever so use them accordingly.
It’s not the first time Gearbox gives gamers these SHIFT codes: the developer has been giving them once every month so get ready for some extra rare loot! Here are the codes for each version of the game:
