Borderlands 2 will be getting another DLC in the near future, introducing a couple of extra features. Maximum level cap will be raised, allowing players to power up their characters even further and a new playable class will be introduced, just like the Mechromancer was in the first DLC released. This upcoming DLC is also not included in the Season Pass, meaning that everyone will have to pay for it. It’s the first proof that what Randy Pitchford said is true about more unplanned DLC coming for the game.
When asked about the possible release date and if the DLC would be coming withing March, Pitchford simply stated that the DLC is reuiring more work than expected but nothing has been set in stone as of now. He also added ” We’ll see”: by not denying it outright, there’s still some hope left that the DLC could be ready by March. There’s obviously a lot of work involved, especially to balance the game and the team obviously doesn’t want to put out a broken DLC which would ultimately create more harm to the game: with such an active and demanding fanbase, the DLC must truly be perfect to avoid any problem.
Borderlands 2 is currently available on Pc, Ps3 and Xbox 360.
