Crystal Dynamics has announced something unexpected this morning: the Ps3 Tomb Raider will receive the first patch on release day. There are no patch notes accompanying the announcement so there’s no way currently to know what this patch does. The update won’t be too big, being only 53 MB: it’s probably gonna be some simple tweaks which will improve the game’s performance or correct some last minute bug. The update will be downloaded automatically once the game starts if the console is connected to the internet. This patch will be exclusive to the Ps3 version of the game, since the Pc and Xbox 360 versions won’t be getting it.
Tomb Raider will be available on March 5 on Ps3, Xbox 360 and Pc.
