Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag has only been officially announced for current and next gen consoles: after living the life of Connor during the War Of Independence, the Animus will takes us to the Caribbeans, living the life of an assassin pirate.
During the official presentation of the game, Ubisoft said that Black Flag wouldn’t be the only AC game released this year as another title is currently in the works for a yet to be named platform.
Given the success of Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation on PsVita, gamers have been speculating that Ubisoft is working on a PsVita Assassin’s Creed spin off. This information actually falls in with some other official Ubisoft words: the publisher stated that while Connor’s story is mostly finished, it’s not the last we will see of him. Could this mean that the rumored new Assassin’s Creed PsVita game will actually star Connor? With Ubisoft changing strategy with the series’ spinoffs, this would be quite reasonable.
Even though this AC game in the works doesn’t turn out to be on Vita, Ubisoft is still going to support the console: president Yves Guillemot stated last week that the console is not dead for Ubisoft and another game of the series will eventually be coming on the handheld.
