If anything this bit of news sheds some light onto that giant list of developers that Sony showed off at their big announcement, with each one being outed as developers onboard for the PS4. Disgaea developer Nippon Ichi is already on the verge of releasing Disgaea D2 for the PlayStation 3 in March in Japan and in August in English, but with the PS4 on the horizon you’d have to think that they are already looking forward for developing titles for the PS4 and looking to leave the PS3 in the dust, but that simply isn’t true.

In a recent interview with Siliconera, Sohei Niikawa of Nippon Ichi spoke about future titles and platforms quite candidly. While they do seem ready to work with the PS4, he discusses how they don’t feel quite done with the PS3 just yet and how they are looking to develop more titles for the PlayStation Vita as well. They are starting to brainstorm what future projects should be PS4 projects, but it looks like fans might still see some life in the PS3 for a while.
