There have definitely been some big hints being dropped about what will happen with Uncharted 3′s Multiplayer modes, the biggest being a rumor that is swirling around about the multiplayer going free-to-play. Of course there is no confirmation on that just yet, especially with Sony removing the information from their blog as soon as the media started picking it up, but there are some other bits leaking out. There was a big patch that just dropped on Monday afternoon on the PlayStation Network, the details of which can be read here, but that isn’t the whole story.
What is most interesting is that Naughty Dog notes that there will be an even bigger update coming on Tuesday for Uncharted 3, but the details are scarce to say the least. One has to assume that the rumor about free-to-play could come to fruition as early as today in some regions, but until it is official, Uncharted 3 fans will just have to wait and see.
