Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be getting three packs of DLC, the first being 30 levels of VR missions. This pack will be exclusive for the PS3. The developer released the information on their Japanese Blog today. They also announced that you’ll be able to play as Jetstream Sam in the second DLC pack. You’ll be able to control the LQ-84i as well, or the Bladewolf, that you fight at the beginning of the game. One of the main disputes I had with the game was that it was too short, and I felt like there was more that the game could offer, but it didn’t.
Even with that said, the game was received very well, getting mostly favorable scores from basically every gaming outlet out there. We recently reported that the game slipped to the second spot on the UK charts, right behind it’s same day competitor, Crysis 3. Although the two games are pretty different, you still have to compare them because they were released on the same day. There is no word yet on if the DLC will be heading to other regions, but you can expect Konami to release more information on that down the road.
