With all the excitement surrounding the Wii U release, another Nintendo console release probably went by unnoticed by most gamers. Truth be told, it’s not anything major but still, it could have been nice to known for collectors or really late adopters.
A few months ago Nintendo launched another Wii revision, called Wii Mini: the console is your regular Wii devoid of some features like Gamecube backwards compatibility and Wi Fi connection. While this new Wii versions lacks some basic features, it’s also way cheaper and smaller, available in a few new colors other than the standard white. The Wii Mini was only released in Canada for unknown reasons and it looked like the console was going to stay there.
However it now looks like the Wii Mini may be heading towards Europe: a listing for the console has been spotted by a NeoGaf forum member on the European Official Site. While no announcement has been made, the console may probably be heading towards Europe: it may be quite strange to release something like this with the Wii U now available and the old Wii being sold cheap almost everywhere but Nintendo probably knows what they’re doing, if they’re truly going to release the console in Europe.
