Among the most successful series introduced in the current soon to be ending generation, the Uncharted series is probably one the best: with three main titles and a PsVita spinoff, the series starring Nathan Drake has given players a great cinematic action experience, with both platforming sequences, exploration sequences and quite a bit of shooting. The series has improved a lot over time and we can expect another entry of the series to be even better than past games.

Uncharted 3 has been released during 2011 and the game received a lot of praise for its single player experience: the multiplayer aspects of the game have been just as praised and a big improvement over the multiplayer portion of Uncharted 2. Naughty Dog has also worked hard on the online mode for the game, offering regular updates and new in game objects to further customize characters.

Something for the Uncharted 3 multiplayer mode has been teased for a few months: the developers have told players that an announcement was coming soon regarding something truly exciting. However months have passed and nothing new has emerged, until now: a blog post on the Official Playstation Blog revealed that the Multiplayer Mode of Uncharted 3 will be going free to play in the near future. The post has been removed right now, making it look like that the announcement is actually legit and coming in the near future.

When the announcement goes live we will actually know how everything will work: stay tuned for more.
