Sony’s major PlayStation 4 announcement brought about a lot of good news for gamers last week. One of the smaller announcements thrown in among the major reveals such as the PS4 itself or the handful of new games currently in development for the next-gen console was the arrival of Blizzard’s Diablo III coming to PlayStation consoles.
The PC title has been available since earlier last year but pre-order listings on Amazon seem to confirm that the title will be coming not only to PS3 but PS4 as well. The link above will lead readers to the PC version of the game, which is currently discounted to $49.55, but a PS3 and PS4 logo are both clickable underneath and will show the PS3 version available at $59.99 with a Dec. 31 release date.
The PS4 version is not yet available. It features no price or release date but the simple fact that it’s there at all seems to hint that we will be seeing a next-gen port of Blizzard’s highly-popular dungeon crawler.
