Shin Megami Tensei 4 is getting closer to release, at least in Japan and just yesterday Nintendo has unveiled a new trailer for the game: the new trailer showcased the game’s setting, characters and a few gameplay details. As of now the game looks really incredible, taking all the best elements of Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne and improving them to the best: this is probably going to be one of the best 2013 3DS releases.
Together with the new trailer, Atlus has given more information on the title: the game will be costing around 6980 yen in Japan, a bit higher than regular retail price. The game will also include over 400 different demons: we can expect the usual staples of the series together with some new demons which will surely have some crazy design.
Demon fusion enthusiasts will surely be happy: with all these new demons there will be a lot of possible customization options and creating the best demon team possible is surely going to be quite a feat.
Shin Megami Tensei 4 will be released on May 23 in Japan exclusively on 3DS. No news are available yet for a western release but given the series overall popularity over there, chances are pretty high and the game’s coming is almost a given. We’ll keep you updated if something new arises.
