The Guided Fate: Paradox is one of the most unique games developed by Nippon Ichi: gameplay wise the game plays out like a rogue like dungeon crawler with a few twists. In addition to the standard features already seen in the Psp game Zettai Hero Project, players will be able to enter dungeon with a computer controlled character, allowing for some combos during combat, three dimensional cubis levels, giant bosses taking much of the available space and a God Mode which powers up the characters for a limited amount of time. The plot is pretty wacky annd it looks like Nippon Ichi simply wanted to make the most strange game possible from both gameplay and story point of views.
The game was released in Japan only last month after a slight delay and today Nippon Ichi has finally announced that they will bring the game to the US this fall. While it was rumored that the game would only be coming as a digital downloadable release, the publisher has confirmed that the game will be available at retail.
Ready your Ps3s folks, for some old school 2D dungeon crawling action is coming your way this Fall. No news on a possible European release yet.
