As expected, the Ps4 reveal came together with some game announcements and while some where expected, like the new entry of the Killzone series, some have been somewhat unexpected like the announcement of the third game of the Infamous series.
Called InFAMOUS: Second Son, the game will be released exclusively on Ps4. The new InFAMOUS game will feature a lot of new things which will set it apart from the previous two entries of the series: Delsin Rowe will be the main character and the game will take place in the city of Seattle.
The story’s setup won’t be too different from the first InFAMOUS game: Delsin will obtain his special powers through accidental means and he’ll find himself in the net of the DUP, Department Of Unified Protection, a government agency founded after the events of the second games, an agency which should act quickly to prevent other acts of bio terrorism. Being a youth who doesn’t respect authority, we can definitely see the similarities with Cole McGrath.
Together with the plot details, not much more is known about the game: there will obviously new powers and the game will retain the Karma system of the series, influencing plot progression and acquired power. The city of Seattle will be fully explorable, featuring many of its landmarks.
