Square Enix has announced that they are hard at work making another Kingdom Hearts spin off game; this time it is a free to play browser based game for the PC called Kingdom Hearts X[chi]. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix will contain certain bonus items for those players who pre-order Kingdom Hearts X[chi].
According to the description Kingdom Hearts X[chi] will be a free to play game where your original character travels to multiple Disney worlds. And like most free to play games there will be virtual items to purchase as DLC.
Neither of these games have been officially announced as having a western release, but it is probably just a matter of time considering how popular the Kingdom Hearts franchise is over here. On another note, the continual spin offs of the Kingdom Hearts franchise is exceedingly frustrating to a lot of Kingdom Hearts fans; as it seems like fans may never get another console based Kingdom Hearts game.
The funny part is, that Kingdom Hearts 3 would make a lot of money for Square Enix so it seems a little strange that they would just sit on the franchise for so many years. I would argue that Kingdom Hearts 3 could actually be a major system seller for Sony or whoever gets the game, but Square Enix seems intent on just releasing spin offs.
