Konami has released the latest entry into its “Make it Right” live-action trailer series with “Sword.”
While it still doesn’t show one iota of gameplay, it does try and give players an understanding on how Jack (Raiden) gets to be the killing machine he is today.
The video shows Solidus torturing someone in front of Jack. The unnamed man seems to be nothing more than a lab rat to make Jack adhere and bow to whatever program he’s in. Needless to say, a knife is used to end the man’s life and presumably to highlight to Jack how bad-ass a blade is.
What do you think? While the campiness and cheesiness of it all might be intentional, that doesn’t mean it’s harder to swallow. I’m hoping we’ve seen the last of these and get treated to some actual gameplay footage.
If nothing else, I guess there’s always E3, no?
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is scheduled to be out later this year for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
