Capcom has just released the first ever footage of the upcoming HD survival horror re-release, Resident Evil: Revelations. It brings in the fan-favourite mysterious agent HUNK as a playable character in the game’s Raid Mode.
This marks the first time we’ve seen Revelations’ console HD visuals. Another notable thing from the video is that the crosshair is similar to the one from Resident Evil 6, as opposed to the tradition laser targeting aiming. Like RE6 though, it’s likely that you can switch between both targeting styles.
There is also a much longer, in-depth video focusing on the campaign mode over on GameSpot with commentary from Capcom marketing man Mike Lunn.
The graphics are looking fantastic. As Lunn points out, it’s clear to see that this is more than just a simple upscale. All models and textures have been reworked, and it’s looking horrifyingly great.
Resident Evil: Revelations will be release on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC on May 21 in North America and May 24 in Europe.
