The big Ps4 reveal is only a week away now and we can expect a flood of information coming regarding the next Playstation console as well as the rumored and patented new PsVita 4G model. For quite some time we have known that Sony was aiming in changing the way players control their games and the interface but we lacked details on how the new controller would be. Apparently some details have been leaked ahead of the presentation, confirming some of the rumors.
The new Ps4 controller will really have a touchpad, like the one on the back of PsVita. Unlike the portable console the touchpad is placed on the front of the controller, forcing to move the start and select buttons.
The controller’s shape won’t be too different from the current Dual Shock design, with the L2 and R2 buttons remodeled and apparently for the better. The other rumors regarding the pad, like the Share button, are still unconfirmed, as well as the rumor of a camera being included in all the console’s versions.
The next Playstation 4 will be finally unveiled next week in New York, during the Playstation meeting: we can expect all the most important details, including price, potential launch line up and release date.
