With the release of Playstation All Stars: Battle Royale, Sony has shown that, while coming from different games, there is always a way to include such a diverse roster in a single game. The game may have sold below expectation but it’s a solid title even though it may borrow too much from its inspiration, the Super Smash Bros series. With some iconic Sony characters missing, it was a given that the game would be receiving some DLC content.
Available from today on the PSN Store is the first DLC pack of the game including two extra characters, an extra trophy and an extra stage. The included content was already detailed some time ago: the included characters are Kat from Gravity Rush and Emmett Graves from Starhawk. Both characters will bring some new fighting styles into the game, helping the roster being even more diverse. As an added bonus the DLC will be free of charge for two weeks for everyone: I suggest you download the DLC even if you don’t have the game. If you’ll ever get the game you will have two free extra characters.
In two weeks, players will be able to buy the DLC for 4.99 dollars: since the game has a Cross Play function with the PsVita version of the game, the DLC will be working for both versions of the game.
