Sometimes you gotta take the good with the bad and in the case of Resident Evil: Revelations, there is some good and bad to be had when it comes to the Wii U port of the game. We’ve already heard that the popular handheld title that is being ported to the major home consoles will have some great features on the Wii U, such as off-TV support on the Wii U GamePad. That means that you will be able to play the game much like its portable counterpart, but with all of the cool new stuff in the Wii U version.
So what about the bad? It was confirmed earlier that the game will not support the Wii Remote (WiiMote), which is a disappointment to fans of the Resident Evil series, a series that has seen some innovative controls with the Wii Remote. But, the game will support the Pro Controller, which is great for those who don’t want to play it on the GamePad.
