Tank! Tank! Tank!, Namco Bandai’s tank shooter, is going to go Free-to-Play in Europe. The company had experienced with the F2P model when they released the game in Japan, and now they’ve decided to do the same for Europe as well. The Wii U title has become one of the more popular downloadable titles for the system, and I’m sure to move the game to a F2P model will only heighten people’s perception of the game. It was originally an arcade title, but it made it’s way to the Wii U on when the system first launched back in November. The game comes with Monster Battle, Free-for-all, and various other Team Versus modes.
You can buy the first add-on, My Kong mode, for only £1.59. I mentioned that this was for Europe and Japan only, NA regions will still have to pay to play the game. There is a free demo available, and it’s highly recommended that you try it out first. The game may not be for everyone, and you don’t want to plunk down the cash for a game you won’t like in the end. The new price for the game will go live when the European eShop updates on thursday.
