There are times when games take a lot of time to get released from market to another: older European games surely know the long waits between North American and European versions of a lot of text heavy games. Things have changed a bit during this generation, with some games even receiving an European version before the North American one: Xenoblade Chronicles comes to mind together with a few other titles.

We may not be talking about a major release but it happened again and now the wait is over for North American gamers: Ecolibrium is finally available in North America. Ecolibrium was released 5 months ago in Europe: it’s a free to play game where players will be in charge of the ecosystem, trying to create a balanced system so that it can sustain itself. Players will be able to add plants, animals and artifacts or start using the Near app to unlock new content. There’s also an online function and leaderboard system.

The game’s premise in interesting enough, however there’s way too much use of microtransactions which are required to fully enjoy the title. If you want to keep going in the game, prepare to spend quite a bit of money on the extra content.

Ecolibrium will be available on the North American PSN today as soon as the new update for the store goes live.
