Professor Layton And The Azran Legacies is the latest title in the successful Professor Layton series, started some time ago on Nintendo DS. The game was announced some time ago as the last of a prequel trilogy and the last game of the series to star the titular Professor Layton. Once again, you can expect some charming puzzles to make your head hurt, together with the usual mysery filled plot which will keep players engaged enough.

Gameplay wise Professor Layton And The Azran Legacies won’t differ much from the previous entry of the series, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask: players will be using the stylus to search the game’s environments for clues and solve the puzzles once they are discovered. Expect a lot of puzzles since Level 5 has stated that the game will containg over 500 new puzzles, a truly staggering amount which will make fan of the series happy.

A new trailer has been released today, featuring many of the puzzles included in the game: you take a look at the trailer here.

Professor Layton And The Azran Legacies will launch exclusively on 3DS at the end of the month, on February 28: no news on an European and North American versions but given how the series is also very successful in the west, we can expect an announcement in a short amount of time.
