Tactical Role Playing Games fans are eagerly waiting for the lastets entry of the Disgaea franchises to be released on the market: called Disagaea Dimension 2, the game will be the true direct sequel to Disgaea: Hour Of Darkness, released some years ago on Ps2 and later ported to Ds and Psp. Players will be able to take once again the role of the new Overlord Laharl, the angel Flonne, demon Etna and all the other Disgaea characters in a new quest to conquer all of the Netherworld.
As expected a lot of the series trademark features will be back: combination attacks, the Demon Assembly, the Geo Panel system which will grant many bonuses during battle, lots of unit classes and so on.
A new gameplay feature which will be introduced in the game has been detailed on Siliconera: player and possible enemy units will be able to ride monsters as mounts. You will be able to ride prinnies, dragons, mothmen and all kinds of monster units. While fighting togetehr, both units will be getting experience points; if there’s a good compatibility rate between the two units, other bonuses will be granted.
Disgaea Dimension 2 will be released exclusively on Ps3 later this year.
