After the end of the original Halo trilogy, the series creator Bungie has decided to move with other projects. Fans of the series were fearing that this marked the end of the franchise but their fears were put to rest when Halo 4 was released: 343 Industries has been more than capable in delivering one of the best Halo experiences ever. With the great success the game is still enjoying, it’s only natural that the team would start working on a new game related to the vast Halo universe.

And it’s not going to be a simple, low budget spinoff: 343 Industries is looking to hire a new Creative Director to develop a new AAA title set in the Halo universe. The wording doesn’t leave too much space for speculation: it won’t be a main line game, which will probably get released on the next gen Microsoft console, but that triple A description means that no effort will be spared in making a great game.

Halo 4 was released back in October exclusively on Xbox 360: the game is still getting full support with weekly DLC releases for the Spartan Ops mode, as well as extra maps for the multiplayer mode of the game and new multiplayer playlists.
