After the recent announcement that the U.S. would be getting a red God of War: Ascension bundle, the UK will be getting a similar bundle to celebrate the release of God of War: Ascension. The UK will be getting a white 500GB bundle, that will include a special golden PS3 controller that features art around the directional and face buttons. The controller looks very nice, and I’m kind of jealous that this will be for the UK only. Hopefully, the controller will be separately released for people to import them. The bundle will come with a special edition of the game, coming in a Steelbook package, and it will include the audio soundtrack, Multiplayer Double XP Unlock, an exclusive PS3 Dynamic Theme and a PS3 avatar.
Its up to the people who’s going to buy the bundles in both regions to tell which bundle is better. Both bundles are really nice to look at, and they both come with one of the most anticipated PS3 exclusives, God of War: Ascension. I think the golden PS3 controller with the art covering it might put the UK version over the edge. Sony Europe hasn’t released an official price for the bundle yet, but Amazon UK has the bundle listed at £249.99.
