The Next Gen is almost upon us, with both Sony and Microsoft getting ready to unveil their new consoles. Despite rumors stating otherwise, Sony has decided to go first this time, teasing about a “glimpse of the future” which will be given during the Playstation Meeting, happening on February 20. During this conference, many believe, Sony will finally unveil its next Playstation console, codenamed Orbis, which will probably be called Playstation 4.
Some other rumors stated that both companies were aiming in doing some Apple style presentation: some private events which are never streamed. Some other rumors, however, stated that these conference would be streamed online, taking advantage of the fact that these reveals have been long anticipated and they’re going to be some big events. Sony has confirmed to Gamespot that they will be offering online streaming for the upcoming February 20 event: the event will take place in New York at 18:00 EST/15:00 PST/23:00 GMT so if you want to know first hand about the Playstation 4 reveal, you know what you must do and at what time you must do it.
The Playstation 4 is said to bring some new features, aside from the logical technological leap, with the new controllers: it will be including the PsVita touchpad and a dedicated share button. We can expect much more details on the upcoming Playstation Meeting.
