Sometimes it is rather easy to complain about the fact that Microsoft’s Xbox 360 has a really fantastic online network, but that most of the features are behind a premium pay wall. The voice chat features and party system of Xbox Live are pretty amazing, of course they come with the price of having to have a Gold membership to even play games online or access certain features, such as Netflix, Hulu Plus and some content that they feel is “premium.”
Some of this premium content has been demos and recently that has included the Metal Gear Rising demo on Xbox 360. In a way it makes sense as this is a highly-anticipated title and players have been waiting to play the demo for a while now, but it won’t do any favors to those that are just curious and aren’t die hard Metal Gear fans. Well, it is now open to everyone who has Xbox Live and not just paid subscribers anymore, so rejoice those of you who do not find the value in playing games online and download with glee.
