Let’s not hide it: the official release date of Grand Theft Auto 5 has been a disappointment for a lot of players. The game was set for a spring release and a lot of rumors pointed out that the game could be indeed coming in late March. Yesterday Take Two and Rockstar officially announced that the game would be coming in September on Ps3 and Xbox 360.
Together with having to deal with some stock problems, with Take Two taking a dive, the fans’ comments have been quite harsh, seeing conspiration behind such a huge delay. The negative comments had become so many that Rockstar had to officially speak about the delay.
The team assures players that there’s nothing behind the delay, if not the team’s desire to make the game as good as it can be. There are times when a team needs extra development time to make a game good and this was indeed the case and the only reason behind the delay. With so little information on the game available, the delay was almost assured.
Gta fans, just sit tight and enjoy the many games that are coming out in the meantime: September is not too far after all.
