Serious players and codcasters for Call of Duty Black Ops 2 will have something to cheer about today. Players now have the ability to stream in game matches directly to Twitch. Just like with every new piece of content for Black Ops 2, Xbox 360 players will have first access to the service. PS3 and PC players will be the service “soon,” although there’s no real concrete date yet for the service, you can’t expect it to take too long to to come to the other platforms. The service will allow players to stream their games directly to your channel, without any additional hardware necessary.
You will also be able to use your Kinect as a webcam, so you can see the streamers face as they’re playing the match. The service will also be able to automatically share your live feed to Facebook and Twitter. This is definitely going to be a packed service for Black Ops II players who really take their game seriously. Say what you want about Black Ops II, the game is packed with features. If you want to see the service in action, you can check out the tutorial video on Twitch’s site below. It’ll be interesting to see how people will use the service, and if it’ll become popular.
