When it comes to announcements of announcements, this generation is definitely at the top, with almost every company using this trick to raise hype and prepare players for upcoming announcements using countdowns, teaser sites and more. Being one of the biggest competitors around, Sony has done the same during the years and today they have done it again: a mysterious video has appeared on the Official Playstation Youtube Channel, a video which teases an upcoming announcement coming on Game Day 2013.
The video is kinda short and can be seen at this location. By looking at it, the only thing that probably will come to mind to many players is God Of War: Ascension, the latest entry in the action-adventure series set in Ancient Greece starring the Spartan warrior Kratos. The game will try breaking many of the series conventions by limiting the quick time events, as well as introducing an extensive online multiplayer feature which Ps Plus subscribers can already enjoy with the available beta version. The video probably teases some kind of announcement regarding the game as many players are speculating, unless Sony has something completely different in mind but still related to the series. It’s hard to tell by just looking at the video so the only thing we can do is just wait for Friday to come!
