The biggest draw for me from the upcoming highly-anticipated Bioshock Infinite, is finding out more about Columbia, the floating city in which the game takes place. Other than character details and a brief overview of the conflict taking place in Columbia when the main character Booker DeWitt arrives, we still have no idea behind the many mysteries surrounding Columbia’s background an history. This new trailer for the game takes a documentary-style look at Columbia, complete with stock footage accompanied by narration from a fictional Alistar Bloom. In the trailer, the narrator talks about how Columbia disappeared into the clouds and we get a look at certain artifacts from Columbia “that pose new and troubling questions about the city”. It’s got a very creepy vibe to the whole thing and it makes me wonder if Irrational shouldn’t just make a full-fledged documentary about Columbia. Check out the trailer below.

This trailer has made me that more impatient for Bioshock Infinite. Now I can’t wait to grab hold of my Sky Hook and start uncovering what mysteries Columbia has to offer when the game releases worldwide on March 26 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
