PlayStation’s European online network is about to have a very good week with a host of quality games hitting the market in mere days; one of which is Dokuro. The debut PlayStation Vita title from multiplatform video game developer ‘GungHo Online Entertainment’ is set to hit PSN Europe in mere days and will introduce players to a very unique gaming experience.
Dokuro is an action/puzzle game that centers on an unnamed and unlikely protagonist who works for an ominous ‘Dark Lord’. After seeing his master capture a beautiful princess, players must embark on a mission to rescue her from the very person they serve under. Dokuro’s protagonist is a small skeletal minion but has the ability to transform into a dashing hero. This back and forth metamorphosis will play a vital role in being able to solve certain puzzles and work past a variety of obstacles. The PS Vita’s front and rear touch screens will also play an important role in the game, as players will have the ability to quite literally draw their way out of certain situations. Whether its drawing ropes, lighting fires or filling ponds, players will be able to manipulate their environment to aid in their perilous journey.
Dokuro has already seen high praise with a host of awards including ‘Best PS Vita Puzzle Game’ and ‘Original Game of the Year’. Dokuro is set to hit PSN Europe as a downloadable title for PS Vita Jan. 30 for €14.99.
