There’s a pretty good deal going on now, and it involves the already popular PlayStation Plus. I’m sure that people who were already interested in the service have already plunked down the money and subscribed to it, but for those who haven’t already, Sony will be giving away an extra 3 months of Plus when you pay for the full 12 month subscription. There have been so many good games already in January, one of the most notable being Darksiders 1. It’ll only get better, there’s no word on the next free game for next week, but you can definitely expect something good.
I’ll admit that December wasn’t the best month for Plus owners, we got some pretty lackluster downloadable titles, but you really can’t complain about the games because they’re free. If you’re not familiar with the service, it comes with 18 free games. 12 of them being PlayStation 3 games, and 6 of them being PS Vita games. New games will be added every month. You’ll also be getting massive discounts on select PSN games. There’s a huge sale going on that gives PS Plus subscribers 75% off on all of the games included. Some of the games include Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, and inFamous 2.
