For those of you not living in Europe and have been seething with jealousy over the fact that Europe got the PSN web store way back in December and you happen to live in North America, Mexico or Brazil, you are in luck. That’s right, as of the time you’ll be reading this article you will be able to load up Sony’s PSN web store and start making some purchases through there as opposed to just through the PSN store on your PlayStation 3 console.
Sure, you might wonder about just how useful such a feature could be, but don’t knock it until you need it. I never saw the purpose in the Xbox Live Marketplace web store until I was away for the holidays while they were having massive holiday sales and found myself not wanting to miss out. The ability to make purchases and to take advantage of sales when you aren’t near your console is really an awesome thing.
So don’t look a gift horse in the mouth and head over and check it out.
